Add Client Authorizations (My Clients Plus 3.0) – My Clients Plus 3.0

Permissions: You must have Billing Permissions.

You can add as many Authorizations as needed for each Client. An Authorization is considered used when the Appointment Status is marked as Kept.

Add Authorization: Sessions Type

Locate Client and open Client Profile.
Click Bill To & Insurance Info tab.
Scroll down to the Insurance Authorizations section.
Click Add New Authorization button. The Add Authorization pop-up window opens.
Select appropriate Insurer/Payer for the Authorization from the dropdown.
Select Sessions for Type.
Enter Authorization Number(not required) and the Start & End Dates (required) for the Authorization.

NOTE: If you enter an Authorization Number, it will pull into invoices based on the invoice service date.
Select the appropriate Service(s) from the Services dropdown.
Enter number of Sessions Allowed.
NOTE: View number of sessions Allowed, Remaining and Available in the Authorizations table.
Click the blue plus icon to add additional Services / Sessions.
Click Save Authorization button after you have entered all Authorization information.

Follow steps 1-4 as listed above.
Select appropriate Insurer/Payer for the Authorization from the dropdown.
Select Units for Type.
Enter Authorization Number, as well as the Start and End Dates for the Authorization.
Select the appropriate Service(s) from the Services dropdown.
Enter number of Units Allowed & Frequency.
NOTE: View number of units Allowed, Remaining and Available in the Authorizations table.
Click the blue plus icon to add additional Services / Units.
Click Save Authorization button after you have entered all Authorization information.

Enter the first service in the service field. Click in the service field and select additional services from the list. All services that are not archived will display in the field.
Click Clear Selection to clear all services from the window.
